The Debate About Marijuana Delivery

In states where it’s legal, dispensaries used to be the go-to place for marijuana products. But recently, more people are using marijuana home delivery services.

Marijuana delivery is a growing company in California, and Kushfly is a popular delivery company in LA. Our website connects clients to dispensaries. Customers can choose from a number of products, including flower, vape pens, body creams, edibles , CBD, and more. Then, it gets delivered right to your door. Many times, it gets there faster than ordering a pizza.

Our site looks like a standard online shop.

It is extremely user friendly and easy to use. Simply add items to your cart just like you would on Amazon. Next, check out, and then you’ll receive an ETA with when your driver is going to arrive. Payment is always processed at the time of delivery, either using a card or cash. The product and drivers are monitored by GPS for security and safety.

Delivery drivers all have clean driving records. They have a host of security procedures to follow.

The drivers use their own vehicles and don’t put any decals on them to bring added attention while delivering. There is nothing that states Kushfly.com on the vehicles. There are two main reasons.  Some people like the discretion of home delivery. This is also to ensure the protection of the delivery driver against any robbery or theft.

There’s a controversy in California and other states which are thinking about marijuana delivery. Some worry that will increase crime.

“We have seen shootings; we have seen homicides,” states Sgt. Scott Pendleton together with the Colorado Police Department in Aurora. “A lot of violent crime that encircles marijuana.”

States that have a marijuana home delivery service include California, New York, Florida, Maine and Oregon. Other states are considering allowing the service, including Colorado and Washington.

“You do not know what’s going to occur, where there is going to be a rip off that is setup,” Sg. Pendleton states.

It is difficult to quantify whether marijuana delivery has influenced crime where delivery is legal.

Delivery helps eliminate the black market, because you are providing a legal channel for access.

Although it is a rare case, some people still argue that marijuana delivery will increase crime throughout cities.
